Jamaica Bus Depot
J. Anthony Equipment Co. is proud to be a part of the future of New York's transit infrastructure. The Jamaica Bus Depot is a state-of-the-art new building designed to house the MTA’s first fully electric bus fleet, and our team provided critical structural services for its construction.
We performed specialized stud welding services through metal decking throughout the new facility, successfully installing 55,000 Nelson shear connectors (studs). Our work ensured the solid, composite action between the steel frame and concrete floors, providing the structural integrity required for a facility that supports advanced operations. This project demonstrates our commitment to precision on large-scale building construction and our role in supporting sustainable infrastructure.
