J. Anthony Equipment Co. contributed essential stud welding services to the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, one of the most vital and iconic structures in the tri-state area. This project involved work on the Upper Level Approach, demonstrating our capability to perform on critical, large-scale infrastructure.

The scope of this job was significant: our team installed 154,000 Nelson shear connectors (studs) across 140,000 square feet of bridge deck.

 

We successfully completed the project over 10 distinct stages, requiring meticulous planning and execution to maintain structural integrity while minimizing impact on traffic flow. This work highlights our precision, the efficiency of our state-of-the-art welding systems, and our unwavering commitment to the structural durability of America’s key roadways.
